Merchant Workbench

Updated: 10/15/26, 10:20:22 AM

The workbench is the first page you see after signing in to the merchant panel. It aggregates configuration to-do alerts, the core statistics of your merchant, and frequently used entries. Menu path: Dashboard → Workbench.

The page structure mirrors the admin panel's Admin Workbench, except the statistics and entries are scoped to your merchant; it is for quick overview and navigation only — full queries are done on the business pages.

Configuration Alert Banner

When there are unfinished configuration items, a banner reading "You have N configuration items pending" appears at the top; click to expand the list, then click an item to jump to the corresponding configuration page. Common to-dos for a merchant include: no app yet, API credentials not configured, no channel merchant, channel routing not configured, notify config not set, and so on.

Two behavioral details:

  • Closing the banner only hides it for the current session — it reappears after the next sign-in; once the configuration is done, the banner disappears automatically after a refresh;
  • If the page a to-do points to has not been opened to your role yet, the item is grayed out and not clickable in the list — contact the platform operators to handle it.

Quick Entries

Nine entries are shown by default: Personal Center, Notification Center, Transaction Analytics, Merchant Info, Apps, WeChat Apps, Douyin Apps, API Credentials, and Fund Transactions.

Click "Edit" to customize: in the selected area, drag to reorder and remove; in the available area, append Merchant Users, Stores, QR Plates, Terminals, Channel Merchants, Domain Verification, and more. After saving, the entries are displayed in your order, entries you have no permission for are hidden automatically, and other accounts are not affected.

Transaction and Announcement Blocks

  • Transaction overview toggles between "today / yesterday" — take a glance before starting each day's work;
  • Fund transactions lists recent transactions (with fund status labels); for an abnormal fund status, click into the payment order to trace it;
  • System announcements are marked as read automatically after you click to read them, and the unread count on the top-bar bell decreases accordingly (the full list of announcements and messages is in the Notification Center, via bell → View All).
