Payment Channel Overview

Updated: 10/16/26, 9:52:44 AM

DaxPay wraps payment channels behind a single unified interface: integrate once, accept every channel. Channels fall into three tiers by availability:

  • Default channels (5): bundled with the open-source edition — Alipay, WeChat Pay, Douyin, UMS, and UnionPay, covering the mainstream domestic direct scenarios;
  • Extended channels (11): aggregated acquiring channels from commercial editions; after purchasing the flagship edition, the official team assists with merchant onboarding and integration;
  • Planned channels (6): product planning is settled and integration is underway; they will open progressively after release.

Edition comparison and pricing are not maintained on this doc site; see the official pricing page and your contract.

Channels, Products, and Payment Methods

For the full terminology breakdown see Glossary; two points matter for channel selection:

  1. A channel can host multiple payment products. The product decides the integration identity and mode — for example, the Huifu channel hosts both Adapay and Dougong products, Shengpay offers normal-merchant and ISV products, and Allin Pay has four product lines. When creating a channel merchant you pick the product first, then fill in the channel-side information.
  2. Each product supports a set of payment methods (QR code, JSAPI, APP, H5, mini-program, barcode, etc.). Method-level lists live on each channel page under "Supported Payment Methods".

Planned Channels

The product master data for these channels is reserved and integration is not yet implemented; each page introduces the channel and its intended usage:

General Integration Flow

The configuration flow is the same for every channel: onboarding → create channel merchant → configure channel keys → test payment.

  • Default channels: the full tutorials for Alipay and WeChat (channel-side preparation, key configuration, sandbox testing) are in Channel Integration; other channels follow the same flow with their own parameters on each channel page;
  • Extended channels: after purchasing the flagship edition the official team assists with onboarding; on the deployment side, configure code-source credentials and build via the panel's Extension Products — extended channels run as channel sub-application containers, upgraded independently from the main application.

Switch environment before creating merchants

A channel merchant snapshots the sandbox/production environment of its payment product at creation time and never follows later product switches; merchants with mismatched environments are excluded by routing. Switch the environment under "Access Config → Payment Product Config" first, then create channel merchants, one set per environment. See From Deployment to First Payment - Step 3.

Selection Guide

  • Mainstream domestic collection only: default channels suffice; Alipay + WeChat is the standard pair for most scenarios;
  • One-code multi-channel collection or offline store aggregation: pick an aggregated acquiring channel from the extended list — one onboarding covers multiple channels; choose the institution by rates and local service capability;
  • ISV (collecting on behalf of sub-merchants) mode: Alipay and WeChat default channels support ISV; among extended channels Sheng Pay offers the sheng_isv product;
  • Troubleshooting topics (callback signature failures, IP whitelists, sandbox testing) live in the FAQ.
