Merchant Profile and Stores
The merchant profile is the basic record of your merchant (merchant number, type, short name); stores are the physical attribution units for collection and reconciliation (transactions that pass no store number fall back to the default store). Menu path: Merchant Center → Basic Management → Merchant Profile / Store Management.
Merchant Profile
The basic information page of your merchant:
| Field | Editable |
|---|---|
| Merchant number | Read-only (assigned by the system; used for integration) |
| Merchant type | Read-only (micro / individual / enterprise; determined by the operations side at onboarding) |
| Merchant short name | Editable (required; displayed in customer-facing scenarios such as the cashier page and bills) |
| Status | Read-only (merchant enable/disable is controlled on the admin panel; contact the operations side to change it) |
Store Management
The store list is queried by store name, store number, and status; it shows the default-store marker plus the full address assembled from "province / city / district + detailed address".
Form fields: store name, status, contact phone, region (province / city / district cascade), detailed address, latitude and longitude (7 decimal places, for map scenarios), storefront / interior photos, and remark.
Default store rules (mirroring the default app rules of App Management):
- Transactions that pass no store number fall back to the default store;
- The default store cannot be deleted — set another store as the default first;
- A confirmation is prompted before disabling the default store;
- If there are stores but none is default, a yellow warning appears at the top of the list.
The admin panel can manage the same data on your behalf from its merchant workbench; changes on either side take effect immediately.
